Marion County Republican Party seeks applicants to take over City Council’s 6th Ward seat

The Marion County Republican Party is seeking candidates for consideration to fill the unexpired term of Marion City Council 6th Ward Councilman, Dale Osborn.  The local GOP said they were informed by Osborn that he will be stepping down effective April 30, 2016.

“We are deeply saddened to lose the experience that Dale brought to his office and to the Marion City Council, but would like to wish him well as he begins a new phase of his life,” stated local GOP County Chairman John Matthews. “Whomever replaces Dale will have big shoes to fill.”

Any interested citizen that lives in Marion’s 6th Ward that is a registered Republican voter, can apply for the vacancy. Those interested should send a resume and letter of interest to: Marion County Republican Party, 114 South Main Street, Marion, Ohio 43302, ATTN: 6th Ward Selection Committee.

Materials should be received no later than April 30, 2016.
