2016 Primary Election Results

Early results for the 2016 Primary Election are coming in with several updates expected throughout the rest of the evening.

The unofficial results from the Marion County Board of Elections show that voters approved the tax issues for Marion City Schools and Marion Township Fire Department, but said no to the issues for Ridgedale Schools and Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities, both of which were requests for new money.

A majority of Marion County voters choose John Kasich as the Republican candidate for President and Hillary Clinton as the Democratic candidate. The local results translated across the state as Ohio’s delegates were won by Kasich and Clinton.
