Marion Industrial Club holding kick-off banquet

The Marion Industrial Club will hold its kick-off meeting and dinner on Tuesday, September 13th in the Community Room at DaySpring Wesleyan Church, 2431 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road. Registration will begin at 5:30pm and the program and dinner will follow at 6:00pm. This year’s speaker will feature Scott Spears, local radio station host.

The Marion Industrial Club is an organization that is made up of Marion residents of all professions. The purpose of the club is to bring people together to enjoy guided tours of area businesses and to provide fellowship with club members from other area businesses. As a member, you have the opportunity to attend nine club activities during the year. Membership is $45.00 per year which includes three dinners and six tours.

This year’s calendar of programs features tours of the Delaware Dam, Wilson Football, Honda, Robot Worx, Union Station and Nucor Steel. Additional dinners and speakers include: Dan Sheridan, Director at Tall Grass Trails and Sherry Hall, Site Manager at the Harding Home.
