Showing for the first time at a theatre in Marion, the Woody Allen comedy drama film, CAFÉ SOCIETY will play at the historic Marion Palace Theatre located in downtown Marion on Friday, August 19, and Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Jack Rodgers with Rovi provides the following synopsis of the film:
A New Yorker named Bobby (Jesse Eisenberg) moves to Hollywood in the 1930s to work for his uncle Phil (Steve Carell), a powerful and well-connected agent. He soon falls for Phil’s secretary Vonnie (Kristen Stewart), unaware that she’s secretly having an affair with his uncle. In time, a disillusioned Bobby returns home to run a nightclub for his gangster brother (Corey Stoll).
In addition to Eisenberg, Carell, Stewart and Stoll, CAFÉ SOCIETY also stars Jeannie Berlin, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, and Ken Stott. The movie is rated PG-13 for some violence, a drug reference, suggestive material and smoking and runs 1 hour, 36 minutes. Show times are:

- Sunday, August 21 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
