Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted is reminding voters that absentee voting for the November 8th Presidential Election begins Wednesday, October 12, 2016 for all registered Ohio voters, both in-person and by mail-in ballot. Important dates to remember for this election are outlined below.
1,804 local issues, including levies for police and fire services as well as school funding, will appear on ballots across Ohio. You can find a list of local issues and races, including a custom ballot, by clicking here and visiting the Marion County Board of Elections.
All Ohio voters may begin voting October 12, 2016 (first day after the close of registration) both in-person and by mail-in absentee ballot. For more information, visit MyOhioVote.com. Nearly 1.1 million Ohioans have already requested an absentee ballot.
The Marion County Board of Elections office will be open the following hours for early, in-person voting. The office is located in the Marion County Building at 222 West Center Street in Marion.
- Weekdays from Wednesday, October 12th – Friday, October 21st from 8AM to 5PM
- Weekdays from Monday, October 24th – Friday, October 28th from 8AM to 6PM
- Weekdays from Monday, October 31st – Friday, November 4th from 8AM to 7PM
- Saturday, October 29th from 8AM to 4PM
- Sunday, October 30th from 1PM to 5PM
- Saturday, November 5th from 8AM to 4PM
- Sunday, November 6th from 1PM to 5PM
- Monday, November 7th from 8AM to 2PM
