Marion Historical Society hosting two nights of “Dinner with the Presidents”

On October 22 and November 5, 2016 at the META Solutions (TRECA) building on Delaware Avenue in Marion, the Marion County Historical Society will present their 7th annual season of Dinner with the Presidents. Guests will dine on presidential favorites and have the opportunity to discuss life in the White House with former United States Presidents.

Featured Presidents for October are Andrew Jackson, Dwight Eisenhower, James Polk, J.Q. Adams and U.S. Grant. In November the presidents are William Harrison, James Garfield, William Taft, Harry Truman, and Grover Cleveland.

The presidents will be attended by uniformed guards appropriate to their eras courtesy of the 121st Ohio Volunteer Infantry and the 5th Texas Volunteers. The meal will be provided by Special Occasions Catering of Upper Sandusky.

Tickets must be confirmed and purchased by October 17th for the October dinner and October 28th for the November dinner.  Prices $26 or $47 per couple  general seating or guest may be seated with a president  and first lady by purchasing VIP tickets at $32 single or $60 per couple.
