Tom Hanks stars in the movie “Sully” at the Palace Theatre

On October 15 and 16, 2016, the Marion Palace Theatre will present the biography drama “Sully,” directed by Clint Eastwood.

Tom Hanks stars in this portrait of airline pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, which depicts his successful emergency landing of an Airbus A320 on the Hudson River in January 2009. As Sully was being heralded by the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, the public was unaware of an investigation that threatened to destroy his reputation and career. Anna Gunn, Laura Linney, and Aaron Eckhart co-star.

“Sully” is rated PG-13 for some peril and brief strong language and runs 1 hour, 36 minutes. Show times are as follows:

  • Saturday, October 1 at 2pm and 7:30pm
  • Sunday, October 2 at 2pm and 7:30pm 7:30pm
