The annual meeting of the Marion County Historical Society will be held on December 3, 2016 at 10:00am in the auditorium of Heritage Hall located at 169 East Church Street, Marion, Ohio. Included will be financial and other reports, recognition of active volunteers, and election of officers.
The meeting will be followed by a German food themed potluck at approximately 11:30am.
After lunch, at 1pm, the museum will open and feature a new mini-exhibit of items in the Marion County Historical Society’s collections which pertain to our German heritage. At 2pm, Gale Martin will present a program in the auditorium on German migration to Marion County and the artifacts in the collection. At 3:15pm Carroll Neidhardt will be presenting a program on growing up in a German Kolony in Marion County. The gift shop will be open for holiday purchases.
