Man arrested for armed robbery of Marion gas station

The Marion Police Department said they arrested a man for the armed robbery of the Speedway gas station, 800 Bellefontaine Avenue in Marion, that occurred on October 6, 2018. Joangelo Freeman, 46, was arrested

without incident in the 300 block of Chestnut Street on November 5.
In addition to a charge of Aggravated Robbery, the Ohio Parole Authority also placed a holder on Freeman for a parole violation. Additional charges may be sought as well in the near future.
