Billy G. Fultz, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010, in Marion, Ohio, at the age of 79.
Bill began his journey of life on November 29, 1930, the son of the late Elmer and Marie Fultz in Grayson, Kentucky.
At the age of 21, Bill moved to the Marion area where he raised his family and built a career with several Railroad Companies, and Whirlpool Corporation. Over the years, Bill developed a passion for homebuilding and landscape. He also had a true love for children and developed a relationship with the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in which he financially supported.
He is survived by three daughters: Goldia Van Gorden of Marion, Nancy Kelley of San Diego, California, and Lisa Fultz of Caledonia, Minnesota; four grandchildren: Barbara McKenzie of Orlando, Florida, Richard Kadel of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ryan Kelley and Taryn Tichiaz, both of San Diego, California; one great-grandson, Garrett Bloomfield of Riverview, Florida; two brothers: Ronald Fultz of Marion, Ohio, and Kenneth Fultz of Louisville, Kentucky; a sister, Patsey Sego of Magnolia, Delaware; and the grandmother of his grandchildren, Judy Fultz of Estero, Florida.
Including his parents, Bill was preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Gene and James Fultz; and by a granddaughter, Beth Bloomfield.
Bill’s final resting place will be in the Caledonia Cemetery in Caledonia, Ohio, where Rev. Daniel Kiger will officiate privately.
