Lana S. Ryan, 64, of Howard and formerly of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Lana was born in Marion, on June 4, 1946 to Ralph G. and Margaret (Kennedy) Chamberlain.
Lana was a graduate of Marion Catholic High School and was married on September 10, 1966 in St. Mary Church to her loving husband, Jimmie Ryan. She worked for Kmart from 1981-1996 and enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Lana is survived by her husband, Jimmie Ryan of Howard; children, Tim (Loretta) Ryan of Big Island, Scott Ryan of Grandview Heights, Jennifer Ryan of Howard and Kana (Steve) Ryan-Powers of Moraga, California; grandchildren, Cole, Haylie, Wesley, Georgia, Ben, Nate, Nicholas and Cash; her mother, Margaret Chamberlain of Marion; brothers, Mike (Diane) Chamberlain, R. Gereth (Nancy) Chamberlain; and sister, Jaque (Paul) Lambert all of Marion; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Chamberlain on August 31, 1981.
Family will receive friends on Monday, June 28, 2010 from 4 – 8 pm at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors, 347 West Center Street, Marion, Ohio, with parish prayers at 4:00 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:30 am in St. Mary Church, 251 N. Main Street, Marion, with Fr. Michael Nimocks Celebrant. A private burial will take place at a later date.
