Vickie Lynn Kennedy, 60, of Marion, went to be with the Lord June 20, 2010. She was born January 15, 1950 in Dover, Ohio.
Vickie was a member of the First Central Christian Community Church, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to church, reading her Bible, walking her dog, Milo, and playing darts.
She is survived by her father and mother, Jerry and Margie VonKaenel; brother, John (Sheila) Chambers; son, Jerry (Scarlet Manning) Martin; two daughters, Tracey (Keith) Roberts, and Wendy (Rick Dunn) White; six grandchildren, Dustin Martin, Mary Roberts, Preston Roberts, Cheyenne Dunn, Owen Dunn, and Peyton Dunn.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11 AM at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Reverend Grover Caudill will officiate the service. Loved ones and friends are welcome to join the family for a meal following the service at 12:30 PM at the Moose Lodge, 374 North Main Street.
