Helen Beulah Good passed away Thursday afternoon, July 29, 2010 at Marion General Hospital at the age of 91.
She was born September 9, 1918 in Hyatts in Delaware County the daughter of Homer B. and Gertrude May (Perry) Vigar.
She was married to Jesse Bennett Good on April 19, 1941 in Marion. Jesse passed away April 15, 1978.
Helen was a 1936 graduate of Ashley High School, and was a long time member of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church. She was a dedicated homemaker, mother, and grandmother.
Helen is survived by four sons, Gary (Janice) of Lorain, Ohio, Ronald of Milford, New Jersey, Ivan of Goshen, Indiana, and Dwight (Shirley) Good of Marion; one daughter, Charlotte Good of Lakewood, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Ray (Beth) Good, Rich (Wendy) Good, Jon (Maria) Good, Tim (Beth) Good, Erica (Sean) Kielty, Karla (Mark) Rayburn, Kris (Amber) Good, Jared (Amber) Good, Angela Millisor, and Eric (Jamie) Good; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; a brother-in-law, Ethan Temple of Independence, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and May Vigar; two brothers, Vern, and Richard Vigar; and one sister, Hazel Swisher.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 2-5 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, August, 2, 2010 at 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Radnor Cemetery. Pastor Doug Ford will officiate the service.
