Rosetta Adams, 68, of Marion

Rosetta Adams, of Marion, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Heartland of Marion at the age of 68.

She was born April 17, 1942 in Upper Sandusky to the late Herbert H. and Marie (Holbrook) Smith.

Rosetta was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Bucyrus. She was a devout Christian and loved to read the Bible and listen to Christian hymns.

Rosetta is survived by her daughter, Carol Gilbert of Marion; three grandchildren, James Hobart (Christy) Gilbert of La Rue, Carolyn (Scott) Griffith of Marion, and Susie Montgomery of Ironton, Ohio; four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, LeRoy (Linda) Smith of Caledonia; five sisters, Kathleen (J.C.) Gibson of Morral, Christine Watts of Marion, Evelyn (Gill) Dorfe of Marion, Linda (Tim) Bennett of Morral, and Debbie Smith of Marion; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Montgomery; and two brothers, Robert and Arthur Smith.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 5-7 PM, and Friday, July 16 from 10 -12 at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service on Friday at 12:30 PM at Little Sandusky Cemetery. Pastor Jack Hager will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be James Hobart Gilbert, Mike Marshall, James Gibson, Josh Fitzpatrick, Jerry Smith, and Douglas Murrel.

Contributions in memory of Rosetta may be made to Marion Heartland Hospice.
