Arlene P. Watson, 84, of Mt. Gilead

Arlene P. Watson age 84 of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, passed away Saturday July 31, 2010 at the Morrow County Hospital.

She was born in Minot, Maine to the late Fred A. and Ida (KnowLton) Priest.

On June 27, 1966 in Gorham, Maine she married James R. Watson who preceded her in death on December 24, 2004.

Arlene was a retired Dietician with the Worthington School System. She was a member of the Marion 7th. Day Adventist Church and was a Sabbath School Superintendent. Arlene had a strong relationship with the Lord and loved children and worked with the kids for many years in the church. She loved music especially the old hymns and was a teacher and taught in Lebanon, Maine. Born and raised in Maine, she also became an Ohio resident for many years when she married James.

Arlene is survived by two daughters; Vickie (Gary) Counts of Mt. Gilead, Ohio and Pamela Bussey of Delaware, Ohio. Also surviving is a twin sister, Eleanor Hewes of Marshall, Tx.; two nieces, two great nieces, three great nephews, six grand and six great-grandchildren. Arlene was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy and Jeannette.

Funeral Services for Arlene will be Tuesday August 3, 2010 at the Marion 7th. Day Adventist Church at 12:00 noon. Officiating will be Pastor Marcellus deOliveira. Burial follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Delaware,Co. Ohio. Friends may call at the Church two hours prior from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
