Arthur Robert Levy, age 84, of Marion, Ohio died at the Alterra Sterling House Sunday, August 29, 2010.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 1926 to the late Murry R. and Pearl L. (Daily) Levy.
He married Mary Isabelle Skaggs June 5, 1954 at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Isabelle died November 29, 2007.
Arthur was a draftsman for Fairfield Engineering for 21 years. He retired in 1984. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. The Naval ships he served on crossed the Pacific Ocean seventeen times.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by one brother, and one sister.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 11 AM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. There will be an hour visitation prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Reverend Craig Lewis will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Rivercliff Cemetery in Mt. Gilead.
