Loren G. Delaney age 77 passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at Partners of Marion and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born June 11, 1933 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late David and Anna Mae (Malone) Delaney.
On January 16, 1952 he married Betty M. (Hinton) Delaney.
Loren was a U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, he was employed at Tecumseh Products for many years until it closed, then was a corrections officer at M.C.I. for 13 years until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Betty M. Delaney of Marion, OH., a daughter, Penny Delaney of Marion, OH., a brother, Ron Delaney of Marion, OH., a sister, Geannie (Marlin) Carter of Defiance, OH., sister-in-law, Ellen Delaney and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Loren will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 12 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, with visitation for family and friends from 11 – 12 PM the day of the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hardin County, near Mt. Victory, Ohio.
