Lowell H. Kraner, age 87, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Friday August 27, 2010 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born November 29, 1922 in Marion to the late Harvey P. and Magdalene (Heimlich) Kraner.
On July 25, 1948 Lowell married Mary Jane Price who survives.
He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion and loved to sing and play the guitar. Lowell was also a W.W.II U.S. Army Veteran and was retired as a life time farmer.
Other survivers to Lowell is a daughter and a son; Lana (Keith) Leggett of Alexandria, Va. and Daryl Kraner of Marion, Ohio, and two nieces; Linda and Karen and two nephews; Denny and Cecil.
Lowell was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister; Harold, Carl, Paul and Mae.
Funeral services will be Thursday September 2, 2010 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion, Ohio at 10:30 A.M. The Associate In Ministry, Kevin Kehn will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
