Reverend Jesse W. Zornes, 68, Marion, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
He was born on December 17, 1941 to the late Roy L. and Myrtle (Stone) Zornes in Bucyrus, Ohio.
On November 28, 1964, in Winchester, Indiana, Jesse married his wife, Nancy C. (Rowland) Zornes, who survives.
Reverend Jesse Zornes has been a Minister with the Church of God International since 1977. He always enjoyed to read the bible, listen to christian music and was very involved with his church.
He is also survived by his children, Aaron W. (Donna) Zornes of Baltimore, Maryland, Anthony W. Zornes, Nannette R. (Michael) Sweitzer of Pennsylvania, Penny S. (and fiance Bill) Roache, Shannon K. Arnold, Jenny L. (Bradley) Pennington all of Marion; a brother, Orville Zornes of Marion; a sister, Prudence Hush of Marion; 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Jesse in death was a brother, Howard Zornes.
Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in the Victory Center Church of God, 1190 E. Fairground Street, Marion. A funeral service will be held in the church at 1:00 p.m. on the same day with Bishop Donald Howell officiating.
