Steven C. Morgan, age 32, of Marion, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, of an untreated illness.
On August 26, 1977, Steven was born in Marion, Ohio, the son of Lynn (Cassell) Fair and Roger Morgan Sr. He graduated from Marion Harding High School.
For many years, Steven had worked as a roofer for Frank’s Roofing Company in Marion. Also, he had worked for nearly five years as a machinist for the Cypress Company in Marion.
With a love for the outdoors, Steven loved to spend his time fishing and simply enjoy the peace and quiet found within nature. He also loved playing his guitar.
The moments most precious to Steven, were any moments spent with his beautiful daughter, Julianna. She was the apple of his eye, his pride and joy. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
With a zest for life, Steven had a fun loving and outgoing personality and he quickly made friends with most anyone he met. Nevertheless, the past four years have been difficult for Steven, as he tried to live through overwhelming pain.
Steven will be dearly missed by his beloved daughter, Julianna Morgan; mother and step-father: Lynn and Stephen Fair of Marion; father, Roger Morgan Sr. of Marion; three brothers and a sister: Roger (Cathie) Morgan Jr., Sarah (George) Page, Matthew and Shane Fair, all of Marion; five nephews and four nieces; grandmother, Barbara Cassell of Caledonia; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his younger sister and by his grandparents.
Services celebrating Steven’s life will be observed privately by his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of his family and they may be sent to the funeral home.
