Terry Lee. Etgen age 53 of Caledonia passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Ohio State University Medical Center after a short illness.
Born in Mt Gilead August 12, 1957 to the late George J. Etgen Sr and Nellie A. Baldwin who survives in Marion.
Terry worked at General Mills for over 30 years.
On July 4, 1987 he married Lisa Anne Shifflet who survives in Caledonia, also surviving are his mother Nellie, two sons Don R. Etgen of Fort Campbell Ky, William D. (Stacy) Etgen of Marion, two daughters, Terasa (Chad) Counts of Cardington, Susan Doolin of Pheonix, Az, two brothers, Steven Etgen of Galion, Richard Etgen of Columbus, one sister Carol (Clayton) Ambrose of Georgia, five grandchildren Jaydon, Aaron, and Charlie Girl Etgen, Raelynn and Payton Counts, and several nieces and nephews.
Terry is preceded in death by his father George Sr, one brother, George Etgen Jr, one sister Jo Anne Etgen, grandson, Nathen William Etgen, and one nephew Michael Etgen.
Terry, known as Paw Paw enjoyed his grandchildren, Scouting, fishing, hunting,camping, blue grass and gospel Guitar music. His family and a river bank were his favorite things.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Richland Road Church of Christ 535 Richland Road with Rev. Russell Howard and Rev. Brett Glespin officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale-Union Cemetery in Cardington, Ohio.
