Frederick George Lamb, 58, of Marion died September 13, 2010 peacefully in his sleep at home. This was an unexpected death.
Fred is survived by one brother, David Lamb of Marion; a sister-in-law, Trish Lamb of Marion; a nephew, Chad W. Lamb of Kentucky; and 2 great nieces, Josylyn and Keeley Lamb of Kentucky.
Fred was currently living with a roommate he enjoyed, Ron Payne. Fred’s parents, Charles and Lenora Lamb preceded him in death.
Fred enjoyed his many friends at MARCA and appreciated all staff at MARCA who have helped him through the years.
Fred loved the Lord and gospel music. He sang and played the guitar and was especially fond of Elvis. Fred thought the Ohio State Buckeyes were the greatest! Fred loved traveling and especially enjoyed trips to Disney World, Cedar Point, and Niagara Falls.
Fred was grateful to the many staff who have provided support services to him during his adult life.
On Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Boyd-Born Funeral Home there will be a celebration of Fred’s life. Viewing will be from 10-10:30 AM with the Celebration starting at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge. Pallbearers will be David Lamb, Brian Fyre, Charles Russell, Adam Guither, Derick Janson, and Jessica Clements.
