Harold Jacob Buhler age 93 of Marion, Ohio formerly of Deshler, Ohio passed away surrounded by his family at his residence Sunday, September 5, 2010.
He was born May 25, 1917 in Deshler, Ohio to the late Samuel D. and Susie (Williams) Buhler.
On July 31, 1940 he married Eloise E. (Adams) Buhler.
Harold was a member of 7th Day Adventist Church in Marion, Ohio. He was owner and operator of H.J. Buhler Constuction for many years, he started, organized and taught masonary at M.C.I. and Tri-Rivers in Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Buhler of Marion, OH., four sons, David A. (Joan) Buhler of Orange City, FL., Daniel L. (Carol) Buhler of Harpster, OH., Jonathan J. (Nory) Buhler of Marion, OH., Robert (Darla) Buhler of Marion, OH., two daughters, Carol J. (Robert) Zima of Minneapolis, MN., Beverly J. Denton of Chickamanga, GA., one sister, Susan VanScoyoc of Deshler, OH., 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Jim and Herbert Buhler, and two sisters, Herma Bishop and Dorothy Rader.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 2:30 PM at Grand Prairie Cemetery with Pastor Richard Baldwin officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 12 – 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, 122 W. Columbia St. Marion, Ohio 43302.
