Sytha Cornwell Auxier, age 87, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Sunday September 19, 2010 at the Community Health Care Nursing Center.
She was born November 8, 1922 to the late Rev. Frank and Mary Bell (Williams) Combs, in Darfork, Ky. She was the last of nineteen children.
Sytha is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Clifford Skivers. Three grandchildren; Joyce (Don) Dutcher, Mark (Donna) Skivers, and Melanie Jill (Scott) Rayburn. Five great-grandchildren; Amanda (Jeremy), Michael, Nathan, Natalie and Kimberly. Three great great-grandchildren; Haleigh, Brayden, and Maleigha. Also, very special nieces and nephews survive.
Besides her parents, Sytha was preceded in death by eighteen siblings, two husbands and some nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service and burial beside her first husband, Jeff Cornwell on Wednesday September 22, 2010 at 2:30 P.M. at the Green Camp Cemetery. The Rev. Dwight Hord will be officiating. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home one hour prior from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
