Carroll F. Flinchbaugh, 66, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at his residence.
He was born on February 14, 1944 in Marion, Ohio to the late Carl A. and Auta (Roush) Flinchbaugh.
Carroll graduated from Harding High School in 1962 and had 37 years of service at Whirlpool Corp. retiring in 2001.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 46 years, married on 9-12-1964, Kathy (Moloney) Flinchbaugh; daughter Cindy (Jay) Wood; and son, Tim (Kelly) Flinchbaugh. Carroll was a devoted grandfather to granddaughters, Emily Wood, Sara, Lauren, and Olivia Flinchbaugh; and grandson, Luke Flinchbaugh; sisters, Virginia Gay and Guyla Bollinger, a brother, Ralph (Pat) Flinchbaugh; and Aunt Sally Roush; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Wood; and brothers, Richard and Paul Flinchbaugh.
If desired, memorial contributions can be made to the Richland Road Church of Christ of which Carroll was a faithful member. Due to Carroll's wishes no calling hours will be observed. A private memorial service will be held with Rev. Russell Howard officiating.
Carroll's life was blessed by the support and devotion of his family and friends.
