Delsie Mathias, age 86, of Ashley and formerly of Caledonia, passed away Sunday evening October 3rd, 2010 at Delaware Court Health Care Center in Delaware.
Delsie was born in Meigs County, February 6, 1924 the daughter of the late John Henry and Maggie (Hudson) Wilson.
On November 3, 1941 she married Herbert F. Mathias. He preceded her in 1989.
Delsie was a nurses aide in Morrow County Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her sister Mary Lou Voss of Pomeroy , her brother Leonard Wilson of St. Augustine, FL, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Graveside services for Delsie will take place at 10:30 A.M Saturday October 9th, 2010 in Caledonia Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.
