Martha L. Hagerman, 78, of Marion, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born February 10, 1932 in Flatwoods, Kentucky to the late Lorren and Goldie (Blevins) Hamm. She married Bernard E. Hagerman July 27, 1955 in Marion.
Martha was a member of International Pentecostal Church of Christ, and was a secretary and song leader for the church. In her spare time she loved doing arts and crafts.
Martha is survived by one daughter, Barbara (Lowell) Ransbottom; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six brothers, Troy (Mary), Larry (Janet), Ernest (Rose), Charlie (Tess), Preston (Jean), and Elmer (Sonja) Hamm; five sisters, Janice (Rick) Cox, Linda Blevins, Betty Blackburn, Ethel (Steve) Wormell, and Brenda Sommers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas and Norman Hagerman; two grandchildren; four brothers, Ralph, Jesse, Joe, and Jim; and two sisters, Donna Lynn, and Virginia Avonelle.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 27 at 11 AM at International Pentecostal Church of Christ. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Officiant will be Reverend William Houck.
