Patricia A. Kus, age 55 of Sunbury passed away Thursday October 29, 2010 at St. Ann’s Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born on December 1, 1954 in Charleston, WV to the late Charles and Edith (Gordon) Gammello.
A graduate of DeSales High School, she had been a resident of the Sunbury area since 1979. Patti worked as an office administrator for Fruth & Company in Delaware and was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
She enjoyed the outdoor activities of fishing, boating, camping, outdoor cooking, and bird watching. A giving person, Patti possessed a fun loving personality. Traveling, trap shooting, and visiting winery’s and lighthouses were some of her other interests.
Happiest surrounded by her family, her legacy will live on in her treasured daughters and grandson.
Her memory will be cherished by her beloved husband of 33 years: Ronald, daughters: Kelly Swackhammer (Jeff Stewart) of Worthington, Chrissy Kus of Charleston, SC, and Amy Kus of Sunbury, Grandson: Zane Swackhammer, brother: Charles Gammello, and extended family.
Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR’s 3 at 61, Sunbury. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 10:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Church, 9633 E. St. Rt. 37, Sunbury, OH 43074 with Rev. David Sizemore Celebrant. Burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.
