Paul M. Brown, 75, of Marion, died on Thursday, September 30, 2010. He was born on June 10, 1935 to the late William and Opal (Cummins) Brown in Marion.
Paul was a member of St. Mary Church and worked at Marion Power Shovel until 1984. He served as president of the union local 1949. On June 29, 1957, he married Mary L. (Dominy) Brown who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Gary (Angie) Brown, Carole Brown, Debbie (Ricky) Breeding; twin brother, Carl Brown; grandchildren, Chris Breeding, Erika Brown, Paul Cory Brown, and Kyle Perry Brown; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob, Dick and Jim; and sisters, Betty and Joan.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with parish prayers at 5 pm. A funeral mass will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in St. Mary Church with Fr. Michael Nimocks Celebrant. The burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
