Shane C. Bowlin, 35, died unexpectedly on October 6, 2010.
Shane was born on October 22, 1974 in Marion, Ohio. He was the youngest of 3 children.
Shane is survived by his mother, Kathy Bentley; two sisters, Kimberly Stallsmith and Kelly Stallsmith; three newphews, Colton Daily, Brock Landon, and Hunter Stallsmith; and a niece, Brooklyn Stallsmith, all of Marion, Ohio. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Marion, Ohio and Tampa, Florida area. There were two cousins that stood by Shane as if they were brothers, Jake Butler of Marion, Ohio, and Jerry Tanner of Tampa, Florida.
We all looked to Shane to turn our frowns upside down in any situation that may have come up. He wanted to make the lives of others enriched with laughter and love, and he never asked for anything in return….maybe a dash of your cologne. Shane left a legacy of unconditional love and caring, and has touched so many in his life. Everyone that had crossed Shane’s path was blessed, and he will always be remembered.
A funeral service will be held Friday, October 15, 2010 at 1 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral home. Reverend Corey Carroll will officiate the service. Burial will be at a later date. Friends and loved ones may visit with the family Thursday, October 14 from 5-9 at Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
