Marguerite A. White, 67, of Caledonia, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded and loved by her family.
Marguerite was born in Marion on February 19, 1943 to the late Harold "Fats" and surviving Rita (Coffey) Millisor.
On June 16, 1962, she was married to her loving husband of 48 years, Clayton R. White who survives.
Marguerite was a graduate of Marion Catholic High School in 1961 and she was a retired supply tech from Medical Center Hospital of Marion. She had a strong love of family and enjoyed bingo and games of chance.
Marguerite leaves behind her children, Teresa (Tim Houseworth) of Marion, Warren (DeAnna) of New Bloomington, Patricia (Larry Higgins Jr.) of Marion, Kelly (David Shockey) of Marion, and James (Christine) White of Marion; she will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tim, Ashlee, Cory, Cody, Kyle, Bret, and Kaitlyn White and Levi Hendel all of Marion; great grandchildren, Haylee, Hayden, and Hunter Britton, Caiden White, Aubry Huffine, Shortcake and Leonna Hendel all of Marion; also surviving are 10 sisters and 3 brothers with several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her 2 dogs, Dutchess and Muggies.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in the Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with prayers at 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 10:30 a.m in the funeral home with Rev. Don Kelley officiant. Burial will follow in Caledonia Cemetery.
