Mary L. Mann, 87, Ashville resident for the past 5 years and formerly of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 surrounded by her family at the home of her son.
She was born on December 12, 1922 in Byhalia, Ohio to the late Lloyd and Mildred (Fleck) Williamson.
On September 28, 1946, Mary was married to James F. Mann who preceded her in death on May 5, 1983. Mary was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church as well as an active member with the Marion Senior Center. She enjoyed the time with her Quaker friends and sharing work memories. Mary also like to travel.
Mary is survived by her son, Michael S. (Jane) Mann of Ashville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jamie (Brian) Kinzer, Michelle (Tarik) Studebaker, and Michael (Leanna) Mann; 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special niece, Candy (Mike) Mitchell; brothers, William "Bill" (Ann) Williamson of Marion, and Larry (Peg) Hamilton of Richwood; sister-in-law, Bea Williamson of LaRue. Also preceding Mary in death was her brother, Don Williamson; and her grandson, Christopher J. Mann.
Family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m on Friday, November 12, 2010 in Marion Cemetery.
