Bertha “Mandy” Timmons Stevens, age 53, of Marion, passed away at her home on Tuesday morning after battling cancer for several months.
She was born in Marion, Ohio on August 12, 1957 to David and Terry (Hunt) Timmons who preceded her in death as did a brother.
David Timmons Jr. Mandy had worked for almost 30 years at Fulfillment Corporation prior to their closing. She enjoyed cooking, making arts and crafts, working in her yard on her many flowers, being outside and spending time with family and her many friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed playing with her 2 pets; her cat “Jake” and her dog “Zoie”.
Mandy is survived by her loving partner; Rick Conley with whom she made her home, her sons; Jason of Virginia and Ryan of Marion, her grandchildren; Nicolas, Tyler, Ryley and Ryah, her sisters; Becky (Tom) Shirk, Tammy Timmons and Joyce Rose, her brothers; Lemual (Angie) Timmons and Rodney Timmons and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Wilch officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
If desired, memorial contributions in Mandy’s memory may be made to her family in care of the funeral home.
