Edna “Jeri” Geraldine Beveridge passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at Marion Manor at the age of 97.
Edna was born July 18, 1913 in Nelsonville, Ohio to the late Charles and Dora Jane (Ayres) Rosser. In September 1933 she married Howard Leroy Beveridge in Lancaster. Howard passed away in 1978.
Edna worked as a seamstress, employed first in Nelsonville with Brooks Shoe Factory from 1931 to 1941, and then working in Marion with Plastic Film from 1941 until she retired. She was also a member of DelRey Rovers Camper Club.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Beverly Severns of Marion; grandchildren, Cheryl (Rodney) Beltz of Marion, and Keith (Paula) Severns of Bucyrus; great granddaughters, Kendra Beltz of Marion, Kaydee (Andrew) Davis of Marion, Brandy (Keith) Johnson of Upper Sandusky , Brittany Wiley of Bucyrus and Courtney Severns of Bucyrus; great-great granddaughters, Breeona Davis Of Marion, Addysen Johnson of Upper Sandusky
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 11:30 AM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery. Reverend Colleen Ogle will officiate the service. Friends and loved ones may visit with the family from 10:30 until time of service.
