Nancy L. Kellogg, 66, of Marion

Nancy L. Kellogg age 66 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born September 5, 1944 in Elwood, IN., to Lamar William  Spears and Mary Laura (Sowders) Stepp.

On October 9, 1964 she married Donavon W. Kellogg.

Nancy was a member of Fairpark Community Baptist Church in Marion, and enjoyed playing cards with her friends in their card club. She previously worked for head start and Dr. Husian office, but her main full time job was running Over Head Door Company for 42 years in Marionwith her husband.

She will be sadly missed by her family, she was a very special Wife, Mom and Grandma, and they could not have ordered a better mother than what she was.

She is survived by her mother and step father, Emitt and Mary Step of Tipton, IN., her husband, Donavon Kellogg of Marion, OH., children, Dana M. (David) Klingler of Delaware, OH., Dawn M. Hodges of Marion, Oh., Donavon W. Kellogg of Marion, OH., seven grandchildren, Dustin Kellogg, Matt Hodges, Courtney Klingler, Chad Klingler, Daylton Kellogg, Isaac Hodges, David Klingler, three sisters, Joyce Cline of Tipton, IN., Judy (Parker) Ferguson of Tipton, IN., Billi Ann (Robert) Wilham of Tipton, IN., a brother, Eldon (Dorothy) Adamson of Canton, NC., two sister in laws, Kathy Kellogg of Hartford City, IN., Becky (John) Abbott of Hartford City, IN., special nephew, Lee Kellogg of Muncie, IN., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Lamar Spears, and a brother in law, Lee Kellogg Sr.

Visitation for Nancy will be Friday, December 10, 2010 from 5 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home 122 w. Columbia St. Marion, Ohio 43302. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 11 AM at Fairpark Community Baptist Church 950 Bermuda Dr. Marion, Ohio with Rev. Kenneth Durtsche officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
