Pauline McClenathan, 91, of Caledonia

Pauline McClenathan age 91, of Caledonia passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon December 5th  at her home.

Pauline was born in Morrow County on April 23, 1919 the daughter of the late Audrey & Myrle (Cole) Anthony.

On March 26th, 1941 she married Howard McClenathan. He survives her at home.

Pauline was a 1936 graduate of Claridon High School and a member of Caledonia Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was a Farmer’s wife in every way, knowing how to operate any piece machinery used on the farm. She also loved to crochet doll babies for Jennifer and kept the family well fed with her good cooking.

Besides her husband of over 69 years, Pauline will be fondly missed be her children; Roger & Melody McClenathan of Edison and Sharon and John Herrod of Mt. Gilead. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jerry Herrod of Mt. Gilead, Ryan & Cindy McClenathan of Marion and Jennifer McClenathan of Edison. She’ll be sadly missed by her great grandchildren Hanna & Bailey, DJ & Maxine. She also leaves behind her brother Paul Anthony of Caledonia.

She was preceded in death by her brother Morris Anthony, her sister Louise Brooker and her grandson Jeff Herrod.

Funeral services for Pauline will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 9th at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia with Dr. O. French Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Claridon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 8, from 3 – 7 at the funeral home.
