Rosemary Burkhardt age 93 of Marion, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Community Healthcare Center.
Born in Marion July 21, 1917 to the late Nunzio and Eugenia (Puletti) Uliano.
On August 16, 1941 Rosemary married Orvel R. Burkhardt, he passed away October 17, 1997.
Rosemary formerly worked at Frank Brother Department Store.
Survivors include three daughters Glorianne Byrnes, Gina M. (Darrell) Bowen, Susan R. (Brian) Garrabrant all of Marion, three sisters, Florence Keller, Lucy Eckley, Violet "Susan" Baker, all of Marion, six grandchildren, Christopher (Kelly) Byrnes, Kevin (Johanna) Byrnes, John (Amber) Bowen, Eric Bowen, Emilee Rizer, Mathew Rizer, eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Rosemary in death are one infant son John William Burkhardt and a brother Anthony J. "Tony" Uliano.
Rosemary was a member of St Mary Church, the Alter Guild. She loved her family and grandchildren and enjoyed cooking Italian food for her family.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at St Mary Church. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2010 at St Mary Church with Father Michael Nimocks officiating. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
