Chester Earle Caldwell age 89 of Marion, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Wellsburg, West Virginia to the late Charles and Virginia (Patterson) Caldwell.
On May 24, 1939 Chester married Grace E. (McClure) Caldwell and she survives.
Chester retired as a Certified Purchasing Manager of Ohio Power and A.E.P. for over forty five years. He was a member of Prospect Street Methodist Church, Past Master of Masonic Lodge # 770 North Canton.
Survivors include his wife Grace, one son, James Earl (Judith A.) Caldwell of Marion, one grandaughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Hart, and two great-grandchildren Colin and Tierza Hart.
Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Pastor Nancy Goulet Officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.
