Eva N. O'Day age 88 of Akron, Ohio, passed away Monday January 3, 2011 at the Barberton Citizens Hospital in Barberton, Ohio.
She was born October 4,1922 in Flora, Ill. to the late James and Agnes (Lindsay) Lewis.
On October 6, 1940 in Raceland, Ky., Eva married Lawrence Woodrow O'Day who preceded her in death on February 17, 1976.
Eva was a homemaker and her family was her life.
She is survived by two sons; Larry Alan (Joni) Oday of Rockville, Md. and Michael Lee O'Day of Clinton, Ohio. Also surviving are four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Eva was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister, Earl and Ray Lewis and Ann Hess. There will be a graveside service for Eva on Friday January 7, 2011 at the Marion Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. Officiating the service will be Associate In Ministry, Kevin Kehn. Burial will follow the service. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral home the same day from 11:00 to 1:00 P.M.
