M. Kathryn "Katy" Davis, 101, Marion, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Marion Manor Nursing Home.
Katy was born on September 15, 1909 in Marion to the late Michael J. and Carolyn (Hagen) Pfeiffer.
Katy was the last surviving member of the St. Mary's class of 1927. She was a homemaker, loved to play bingo and slot machines, she was a ceramic doll maker and a great seamstress throughout her life here in Marion.
She is survived by a son, Jack T. Davis; grandchildren, Frank, Bob, and Doug. Katy was preceded in death by her husband, Francis P. Davis in May of 1990 and a grand daughter, Vicky.
Family will receive friends from 11 am until 1 pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held on the same day in the funeral home at 1 pm with Fr. Michael Nimocks officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
