Rose F. Copeland, 94, of 10515 King Road, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 8:47 p.m., on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Miller's Merry Manor, in Plymouth.
Rose was born on September 5, 1916, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Dominic and Concetta Britz.
Rose and Frank J. Campiti were united in marriage in 1948. Frank passed away in 1962. In 1965 Rose and Paul Copeland were married. Paul then passed away.
Rose had worked at the Rubber Company, in Marion, Ohio, and then at Marion General Hospital, as a Physical Therapist.
Rose is survived by her son, Charles and (Connie Hodges) Campiti of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Anthony (Tonya) Campiti of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jason (Jacqueline) Campiti of Leesburg, Virginia; her step-grandchildren, Laurie (James) Lloyd of North Liberty, Indiana, David (Annette) Hodges of Plymouth, Kristina (Anthony) McPherron of Plymouth, Kathy (Lysle) Davidson of Plymouth, and Ronald Hodges of Plymouth; her great-grandchildren, John Campiti and Grace Campiti of Leesburg; 12 step-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Josephine (Luther) Arthur of Marion, Ohio, Mary Fazara of Marion, Ohio, and Helen Ordway of Defiance, Ohio.
Rose was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Joe, Carmella, Mickey, Sammy, and Tony.
A memorial servcie will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10 AM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Father Michael Nimocks will officiate the service. There will be a procession to St. Mary's Cemetery following the service.
