Ruth M. Eshman age 89 of Marion, passed way Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.
Born April 20, 1921 in Marion to the late Harry W. and Grace M. (Cosgrove) Cook.
On September 6, 1939 Ruth married Edward W. Eshman, he passed away April 24, 2006.
She retired as a public Representative for G.T.E..
Survivors include two daughters Diana Schwartz and Sondra Green, both of Marion, four grandchildren, Mike (Tracy) Schwartz, Mark (Lisa) Schwartz, Scott (Denise) Kurz, Tracey (Chris Cole) Brown and several great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband Edward and a sister Evelyn Wick.
Ruth was a member of St Mary Church, Business and Professional Womens Association, Marion General Hospital volunteer, and assisted Dr. Ray Finney.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with parish prayers being held at 2:00 p.m.. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at St. Mary Church with Father Michael Nimocks officiating. Burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery.
