Bertha Louise Jones, 84, of Marion

Bertha Louise Jones age 84 of Marion passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.

Born February 25, 1927 in Vanceburg, Kentucky to the late Leslie and Viola (Yates) Tolle.

Bertha retired from The Cigar Store after 17 years. On March 4, 1968 she married Walter I. Jones and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Survivors include one brother Donald Tolle, two sisters, Betty (Leroy) Teets of Marion, and Dorothy Crabtree of Marion. Preceding Bertha in death are her husband Walter, brother Herb Tolle, three infant sisters and two infant brothers.

Bertha enjoyed yard work, and flowers, crafts, painting and collecting Cow figurines. A graveside service will be held in Marion Cemetery Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Ralph Stock officiating.
