Aldine C. Rinehart, 83, formerly of Edison

Aldine C. Rinehart, age 83, of Palm Beach Shores, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Heartland Health Care in Palm Beach.

She was born in Edison, Ohio, on February 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Alpha and Lydia Corwin Coleman.  Aldine was a graduate of Edison High School in the Class of 1946.

On June 12, 1949, Aldine married her husband of 60 years, David L. Rinehart, at The Little White Church in Edison.  Together they moved to Florida in 1973 from Ashtabula, Ohio.

Aldine worked as a secretary for North Electric in Mount Gilead and Galion.  Later, she worked as the activities director for Lakeview Manor and then as manager of the Executive Center Office Building in West Palm Beach, Florida for 10 years.

She was a member of the Royal Poinciana Chapel in Palm Beach, Florida and was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary of the Ernest B. Rinehart Post #754 in Johnsville.

Aldine will be fondly remembered for her loving, cheerful and outgoing personality and great gift of hospitality. She cherished and enjoyed her loving family and many lifelong friends and relatives.

She will be greatly missed by two sons: Dr. David (Ann Marie) Rinehart II of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Dr. Douglas (Candace) Rinehart of Palm City, Florida; one daughter, Diane Cunningham of Palm Beach Shores, Florida; seven grandchildren: Kaylyn Cunningham, David III, Matthew, Allison, Luke, Jordyn, and Zachery Rinehart; one great-grandson, Sean Rinehart; her sister, Maxine Stevens of Mount Gilead, Ohio, along with her three sister-in-laws, and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, David Rinehart and her sister, Hazel Reed.

Aldine’s family will greet friends from 9 – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, Mount Gilead.  Funeral services honoring her life will follow immediately at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery in Johnsville.
