Rose Keaton age 79 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born August 10, 1932 in Marion, ohio to the late Ernest A. and Winifred B. (Lampert) Abrams.
On February 17, 1956 she married Melvin J. Keaton, he preceded her in death on November 20, 2008.
Rose was an active member of the Oakland United Methodist Church for many years, and worked in her younger years at Noblets, Kresgies and Gallher drug store.
She is survived by a step daughter, Lois Holman of Eden, NC., a foster daughter, Ceclia McComas of Upper Sandusky, OH., four brothers, Martin (Linda) Abrams of Marion, Robert (Joyce) Abrams of Marion, James (Sharon) Abrams of Caledonia, OH., Everett (Thelma) Abrams of Greenville, OH., three sisters, Opal Gregory of Springdale, AK., Rachel Abrams of Canton, OH., Martha Abrams of Canton, OH., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Three brothres and three sisters.
The funeral service for Rose will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2011 @ 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Rafael Velazco officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
