Ruth Marie Fortner, age 91, of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.
Ruth was born on April 28, 2011 in Caledonia, Ohio, to Melvin and Alice (Bayler) Fink.
Ruth was united in marriage to the late Ted Fortner. Ruth worked as an assembly worker for BF Goodrich.
She is survived by her daughter Diana (Richard) Hart of Marion; her grandchildren: David Hart, Daniel Hart, Nancy Burnhardt, Joyce Fortner and Many Ann Fortner; Great grandchildren: Stephanie, Marina, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Courtney, Autumn and Megan.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ted Fortner; Sons: Don Fortner, Ron Fortner and Teddy Fortner; grandson Chad Hart and sisters Ethel Davis and Hazel Mooney.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
