Donald E. Kuhn age 80 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio.
He was born July 7, 1931 in Marion, Ohio to the late Fayd D. and Awilda G. (Robinson) Kuhn.
Don was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and was a U.S. Air Force Reserve for 26 years. He was a faithful member of Calvary Bible Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed being a member of the Amateur Radio Club and Wyandoy Area Hamm Operators Radio Club.
He retired in 1990 from GTE after 37 years as a electronic technician.
Don is survived by three daughters, Nancy (Robert) Simpson of Marion, Victoria (Marvin) Harrell of Bel Air, MD., Elizabeth (Hank) Zehendner of Columbus, OH., seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald E. Kuhn II, a brother, Junior Kuhn and a grandson, Zachary Kuhn.F
uneral Services for Don will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 @ 10:30 AM at Calvary Bible Baptist Church (1419 Linn Hipsher Rd.) with Rev. Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens where a military service will be held. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 5 – 8 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
