Ima Jean Roberts age 75 of Martel, Ohio passed away Monday, November 7, 2011 at her residence.
She was born September 6, 1936 in Raven, KY., to the late Dave and Freda (Terry) Gibson.
Ima was the dearly beloved wife of Ed Roberts for 55 years he survives in Martel, OH., and devoted Mother of three daughters, Pamela (Dennis) Piwinski of Birmingham, AL., Debbie (Bill) Stricker of Valparaiso, IN., Sandy Roberts of Lancaster, CA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Samantha Stricker, Billy Stricker and Ava Piwinski, three brothers, Bruce (Kay) Gibson of Marion, OH., Howard (Paula) Gibson of Marion, OH., Doug (Ann) Gibson of Marion, OH., four sisters, Willa (Orville) Moore of Dema, KY., Lydia Hoskins of Marion, OH., Nancy (Chuck) Campbell of Marion, OH., Anita (Grover) Caudill of Marion, OH., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ima was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Alger Gibson.
Visitation for Ima will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 11, 2011 @ 11 AM at Martel United Methodist Church 4190 Martel Rd. with Pastor Yvonne Hechler officiating. Burial will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011 @ 2 PM at Brumfield Cemetery in Harts, W. VA.
