Ronald C. Alexander age 77 of Richwood, died Tuesday morning November 15, 2011 at the Community Nursing Center in Marion where he had been residing.
He was born April 13, 1934 in Richwood to the late Carl and Phebee (Kline) Alexander.
Ron was a 1952 graduate of the Richwood High School, a veteran of the army during the Korean War, where he received the Purple Heart. After serving his country, he worked at the Marion Power Shovel for 42 yrs.
He enjoyed being outdoors; he could be found many times fishing at the Richwood Lake or just walking around it.
Ron is survived by his sisters: Jeanene Alexander of Richwood, Joan Alexander Nick of Carmel, Ca. and Donna Alexander (Carl) Loreno of Marion.
Private Graveside services will be held in the Claibourne Cemetery where there will be veteran graveside services conducted by the Richwood Area Veterans.
