Ann M. Owen age 77 of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away Wednesday January 11, 2012 at the Wyandot Co. Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 17, 1934 in Torrington, Wy. to the late Garrett M. and Svea M. (Borg) Schindler Foster.
On June 7, 1953 in Morral, Ohio she married Ronald W. Owen and he preceded her in death on April 26, 2007.
Ann was retired after 34 years as a secretary in the Ridgedale School System. She also was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Marion, a former member of the Marion Co. Steam and Gas Association, The Marion Co. Fair Board, and she was an Auxilliary Volunteer at the Community Med Center Hospital, and was a member of the Primrose Ringers.
Ann is survived by a daughter and three sons; Joan E. (Richard) Wagner of Buryrus, Ohio, Jeffrey W. Owen of Marion, Ohio, Dale W. (Molly) Owen of Bloomville, Ohio, and Philip W. (Wendy) Owen of Morral, Ohio. Also surviving are ten grandchildren; Kimberly (Jason) Campbell, Lindsey (Luke) Henry, Brian (Jackie) Dible, Matthew (Doris) Owen, Amanda and David Wagner, Jay (Sonia) Owen, Karla, Tiffany and Anthony Owen; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a Uncle and Aunt, Clarence and Doris Borg of Galion, Ohio.
Besides her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Rayburn.
Funeral Services will be Saturday January 14, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio. Officiating the service will be A.I.M. Kevin Kehn. Burial will follow in the LaRue Cemetery in LaRue, Ohio.
